Office cards

Hi,
I made 3 cards last weekend and never got a chance to post them. Well, the truth is---I  forgot my camera ( I think I have a mental problem with my camera)--anyway, one of the girls at work (Denise) had her camera and took these for me.  We had 3 promotions at work, and I made the cards-1 female and 2 male cards ( male cards are so hard for me). Anyway, the cards are really the same, just changed the dp and images. Each card had an insert of another page and on that page, I put the 2nd ( or inside image). By doing this, it just made more room for people to sign the cards and write their little comments. The 3 blank pages each had congratulations on it. So, here is the first card: LOTV images
 and here is the inside:
Here is the 2nd card with Mo Manning's digi images:
and the inside image:
and the last one--these are 2 digi images--forgot the name of the 2 companies--will go look them up and come back and edit:
and the inside:
If you flip the inside image back a page, it opens up to 2 additional pages that each have congratulations on them for the writing ( or signatures).  You can  click on the images to enlarge.  I think the camera was a little too far away.  Live and learn, right
Hope you like them and thanks for looking

Hi everyone,
Hope you all had a good weekend--they sure do go fast!!  But the big long weekend is coming up................ just 5 more days !! I made 2 cards that I am posting.  The first one is for the monthly raffle at work.  I make a card and we draw names, this time my friend Janie got the card and she was real happy.  The image is from my friend Gail.  It is a Sarah Kay image and I just love her, thank you Gail!!
Here is the card--you can click on it to enlarge:

and the next card I made is from an image that my friend Lillian sent to me. I just love this image and I am entering this in the High Hopes Challenge #111. I do want to win because I "NEED" to have this stamp!! The theme this week is stars and stripes--but you must use a High hopes stamp. Check out their site at: http://highhopesstamps.blogspot.com/2011/06/challenge-111-stars-and-stripes.html

Here is the card:

You can click on this card to enlarge also. I had planned on putting grass under the poles, but I didn't want to cover up the little frog on the dp on the left ( plus time was getting away from me again!!) Thank-you Lillian!!!
Hope you liked them.
Have a great night

Hi,
I'm back and I have a new card for the High Hopes Challenge #110--favorite Pet or Animal.  You can see all the details on their blog: http://highhopesstamps.blogspot.com/2011/05/challenge-110-favorite-pet-or-animal.html And of course, one of the requirements is to use a High Hopes Stamp. They sure are a lot of fun to color and work into a card. The picture came out a little blurry--I use to always think it was the camera, not I'm not too sure :)
Hope you like it:

Thanks for looking

I would like to share with you a card that I made for my Priest, Father Zanek.  He is celebrating his 15th year as a priest. I wanted the card to be special and knowing my talent or lack of---I decided to get my inspiration from the best. So, over I went to Becca Feeken's blog: http://www.amazingpapergrace.com/
She has amazing cards, altered projects and great tips of all sorts.  She also designs for : http://www.ourdailybreaddesigns.com/   I looked at her cards ( as well as other people) and I fell in love with this card by Becca: http://www.amazingpapergrace.com/an-example-you-should-follow/#.  She made this card in October 2008.  I did get Becca's permission to case her card too. So, I changed my card around a bit--didn't want to give him a bow ---I hope you like how it came out.  To be honest, I am happy with it. I do not know how Becca did the punching of the cross--I tried so may times and couldn't get it --mine would be to close to the next cross or wouldn't punch through the cardstock correctly.  My husband, Wayne finally took pity on me and did it for me!! Yeah and thanks Wayne.  I got him to punch out 2 more that I put away for another time :)
Anyway, here is the card:  You can click on any image to enlarge

I didn't have the right size punch or nestie for the saying, so I have the Cross Shapeabilities from spellbinders that I used in the center. I also used one of the larger ones on the inside.
Inside of the card:

and I close up of the saying:

I did the cracked glass technique on the oval.
And the last picture is of the larger Cross from the shapeabilities--I put a piece of cheese cloth behind the cross and popped it up with a dimensional.
Thanks for looking and have a wonderful week.
Monica
